Dispatcher accounts: give your office team its own logins
Why limo companies should give each dispatcher their own login, how dispatchers create bookings and coordinate the day, and which plan includes them.

When the owner cannot answer every call
Many limo companies begin with the owner taking every booking. As the work grows, someone else has to answer the phone, enter rides and move drivers around, and sharing the owner's own login is the worst way to do it: nobody can tell who changed what, and access cannot be taken back without changing a password everyone knows.
A login of their own
A dispatcher account gives each member of the office team their own sign-in, attached to your business. Dispatchers can create bookings and coordinate the daily operation, while the owner keeps the parts that belong to the owner. A dispatcher is a member of your company, not a separate customer, so they have no plan or bill of their own.
What changes for the owner
With dispatchers working in the same workspace, the owner stops being the bottleneck for every booking but still sees everything that happens. Bookings, assignments and changes stay in one place, so a ride entered by a dispatcher at seven in the morning is the same ride the owner reviews at noon.
Handing over between shifts
When an evening dispatcher hands over to the morning team, the schedule itself is the handover. Every ride shows its driver, vehicle and status, so the next person can pick up where the last one stopped without a phone call. When someone leaves the company, their access is removed without touching anyone else's.
Which plan includes dispatchers
Dispatcher accounts are part of the Scaler plan, alongside vehicle profitability, performance dashboards for drivers, vehicles and clients, client portal access, downloadable reports and a weekly performance summary emailed to owners. New businesses can try Scaler free for seven days.
Before adding a dispatcher
- Give every dispatcher their own login, never a shared one.
- Agree who confirms prices with clients.
- Write your standing dispatch notes in the company settings.
- Decide how shifts hand over, and at what time.
- Remove access on a dispatcher's last day.
