Driver daily reports: fuel, odometer, revenue and receipts
How chauffeurs can file a daily report from their phone with odometer readings, rides, revenue, fuel and receipts, and how owners use the figures.

Receipts in the glovebox, figures in a notebook
At the end of a long day, a chauffeur's fuel receipts are in the door pocket, the tolls are on a card statement and the kilometres are on the dashboard. If the owner wants to know what the day cost and what it earned, someone has to collect all of that, usually days later. A daily report gathers it while the day is still fresh.
What a driver reports
In LimOperations, drivers submit a daily report from the driver portal on their phone. It covers the date, the vehicle driven, the odometer reading at the start and end of the day, the rides included, the revenue collected, the day's expenses including fuel and the fuel price, notes, and photos or files of the receipts.
Reviewing reports in the office
Submitted reports reach the owner's reports page, where each one can be checked against the day's rides. Because the rides are already in the system, a missing trip or an unexpected expense stands out. Kilometres driven per vehicle come from the odometer readings, which keeps vehicle usage records honest without anyone keeping a separate log.
Figures that feed the rest
Reported revenue and expenses do not stay in the report. They flow into vehicle usage and, on the Scaler plan, into the vehicle profitability and performance views, so the money a car earns and spends is counted where decisions are made. Reports in other currencies are converted, so mixed-currency days still add up.
Making it a habit
A report is most useful when it is filed the same day. Ask drivers to submit before they finish, keep the form short by entering only what you will actually review, and look at reports at least weekly so drivers see they matter. Daily reporting from the driver portal is part of the Manager and Scaler plans.
