Review a chauffeur's route with tracking history
Replay where a limo driver went over the last 7 days: sessions by day, times, distance and the path on the map, from the Tracking Map in LimOperations.

The question that comes the day after
A client calls on Tuesday morning: the car was late to the airport on Monday, and they want to know why. The chauffeur remembers heavy traffic, the dispatcher remembers a text, and nobody can show what actually happened. Without a record of the route, the conversation turns into one person's memory against another's.
What a route record settles
Being able to replay a chauffeur's drive answers practical questions quickly. When did the car leave? Which road did it take? How long did it wait at the pickup? A route on a map is easier to discuss than a list of times, and it helps you correct a habit, defend a driver who did everything right, or explain a delay to a client with facts instead of guesses.
It also helps with your own planning. Seeing how long similar trips really took makes the next quote and the next schedule more accurate.
Tracking history in LimOperations
On the Tracking Map, each driver's panel has a Location section with a Tracking history list. It shows the driver's sharing sessions from the last 7 days, one row per session, with the day, the start and end times, how long it lasted and the distance covered. A pause of more than an hour starts a new session, so a morning airport run and an evening event appear as separate rows.
Click a session and its path is drawn on the map in the driver's colour, zoomed to fit, while live positions step aside. A black chip names the session and offers Clear to return to the live view. A day picker narrows the list to one day; only days with tracking can be chosen.
What drivers need to do
History only exists for time a driver was sharing their location. Drivers turn on the Share location switch in the Driver app when they start working, and the map records points while they move. Driver tracking is part of the Manager and Scaler plans, and owners and dispatchers can open the Tracking Map.
Positions older than 7 days are deleted automatically every hour. If a route matters for a dispute or an invoice, look at it within the week and note what you need.
Using it fairly with your team
Tell chauffeurs that routes are recorded while sharing is on, and why. Most drivers welcome a record that can show they were on time and took a sensible road. Use the history to answer specific questions about specific trips rather than to watch every minute of a shift.
Tracking history checklist
- Ask drivers to switch on Share location at the start of each shift.
- Check a disputed trip within 7 days, before its points are removed.
- Use the day picker to find the right session quickly.
- Press Clear to go back to the live map.
- Explain to your team what is recorded and why.
