Ride reminders by SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram for limo teams
Set upcoming-ride reminders from ten minutes to a day before pickup, by SMS, WhatsApp or a Telegram group, and decide which status texts clients get.

The pickup nobody remembered
A ride booked three weeks ago is easy to forget, by the office as much as by the driver. A reminder at the right moment turns a near miss into a calm start: the dispatcher checks the car is ready, the driver leaves on time, and nobody learns about the pickup from an angry client call.
Choose when reminders arrive
LimOperations can send upcoming-ride reminders at the lead time you choose, from ten minutes up to a day before pickup, with steps such as fifteen minutes, an hour, three hours or twelve hours in between. A day ahead suits planning the next morning; an hour ahead suits the person who has to make sure the car actually leaves.
SMS, WhatsApp or a Telegram group
Reminders can go by SMS or WhatsApp to the number you set, which can be your own phone or the phone of whoever runs dispatch. With Telegram, a company connects its own bot and can send booking updates and ride reminders to a chat or to a group, so the whole team sees the same message in one place.
Status texts for clients
Separately from staff reminders, clients can receive text messages as their ride moves through its stages, such as when the driver is on the way and when they have arrived. Each company decides whether clients are texted by default and whether those messages include the driver's name or the vehicle details, and individual bookings can differ.
Paying only for what you send
Messages are paid with prepaid tokens rather than a monthly bundle, so a quiet month costs little. Each channel has its own price per message, shown in the app before you turn it on, and texts to numbers outside Canada and the United States use more tokens per message. Companies on the Scaler plan pay half price for messages. New businesses start their free trial with some tokens to try it.
Reminder setup checklist
- Pick a lead time that gives someone time to act.
- Send reminders to whoever is responsible for dispatch.
- Use a Telegram group if several people share the work.
- Decide your default for client status texts.
- Keep an eye on your token balance before busy weekends.
